Oceano is a wonderful vacation headquarters and enjoys a
superb clime year-round. We are close to Hearst Castle, the Danish
community of Solvang, Lopez Lake Recreation area and the historic village
of Arroyo Grande with its many antique shops.
Oceano is the gateway to the Oceano Dunes State Vehicular Recreation
Area where you can ride your ATV in the dunes or rent one nearby. A
visit to the Great American Melodrama and Vaudeville Theatre is a
must. Oceano has a small aviation airport for the flying
enthusiasts.

The central coast hosts a number of events
throughout the year to make your stay in Oceano memorable.
World famous Pismo Beach is nearby where you can stroll on the
pier,
sunbathe, swim, dine in one of their fine restaurants or shop downtown.
Local activities include horseback riding on the beach and dunes, biking,
surfing, kayaking, deep sea fishing, whale watching (in season) and
unlimited beach access.
